Killing with a M16A4 just isn't as fun until you find one of these. Then, just blast the shit out of everything you come across. Normally I hog every STANAG mag I come across, so If i get in a fight, Im not going to be some guy trying to cap you with one or two shots, i will blast the crap out of you and won't stop. Running in a zigzag fashion ain't gonna save you here. If you like M16s, you love these.

Same here, found one in the NW Airfield. It had 20 STANAG and 10 STANAG SD. It looks like a M240 or M249 MAG but standing upright not laying down.

In the update, I found one of these in the NWAF, but it was empty. The server just reset and I was the first one there. The doors were closed and loot had just spawned. Could this just be a glitch or do they spawn empty as well now?

Just submitted a couple of screenshots, one of the gear menu with it open and one of it on the floor. I'll get a screenshot of the 7.62 ammo box soon, then every single item on this site will have screenshots!

Found one of these in the south barracks of the NWAF. As I opened it, it made me giggle due to it having a total of 26 STANAG mags. 20 normal and 6 SD mags. This coupled with the two M16A2's sitting in the other rooms of the building made it possibly one of my best finds.

They do same damage as they do when fired from the SD. The damage in ArmA (as it partially is in real life too) is based on the ammo. They are silence for zombies as well when shot from a non-suppressed gun, but audible for players.

I have a question, if you use the SD rounds in a non silenced gun do they do the same damage as standard ammo or are they weaker like when fired from the M4A1 CCO SD?
